Reordering Menu Items

The menu uses the "Menu index" field to sort by. Reordering (not merely sorting) documents by changing their "Menu index" number in the manager therefore changes their display order in the site's menu system. 

To quickly and easily reorder an entire 'branch' of the tree:

  1. Click on the Modules option on the main manager menu and select the Doc Manager option from the sub-menu.
  2. Click on the Sort Menu Items tab.
  3. Click on the parent document (or "container") of the items you wish to reorder. For example, if you want to reorder the top (or 'root') level items, then click on the site title at the very top of the tree.
  4. Click on the Go button at the top of the window pane. A list of documents will be displayed.
  5. Drag and drop any items that you wish to reorder.
  6. Click on the Save button.
