Insert an Image into a Document
To insert an image into a document:
- Insert the cursor at the place where you want to insert the image.
- Click on the
("Insert/Edit Image") button on the toolbar. - Click on the
("Browse Server") button next to the "Insert URL" field in the dialog window.
- a) Select an existing image on the web server in the Resources Browser window. You may need to navigate to another folder to find the image you are looking for.
OR
b) Upload a new image:
- Navigate to the image folder you wish to use.
- Click on the Browse... button at the bottom of the Resources Browser window.
- Select an image from your hard drive.
- Click on the Upload button (in the Resources Browser).
- Once uploaded, you can select the new image.
When uploading images, please consider which folder you are uploading to. It is a good idea to set up a few appropriately named folders to neatly organise your photos, logos and other images.
Note: If you delete or move an image file using the Resources Browser, the image will no longer be displayed on any documents that reference it, and a "missing image" icon may be displayed instead. Make sure you remove all image references from documents before moving or deleting the image file from the web server.
