How to correctly format paragraph text
All normal, standard text should be 'marked up' as "paragraph" text. It is good practice to do this first, before you apply any other formatting such as sub-headings or bullets.
- Delete/insert carriage returns (created when you press the "Enter" key) wherever appropriate.
- With the insertion point in a paragraph, select the Paragraph option from the Format drop-down list.
This should ensure that the paragraph text is appropriately styled, with the correct spacing between paragraphs.
Note: To check that text has been correctly marked up, insert your cursor into any paragraph - the Format drop-down list should display "Paragraph". If you wish to increase or decrease the space between paragraphs please ask your web developer to adjust your style sheet.
