Reordering menu items

The menu uses the "Menu index" field to sort by. Reordering documents by changing their "Menu index" number in the manager therefore changes their display order in the site's menu system.

This can be done manually by editing each document but to quickly reorder an entire 'branch' of the tree in one pass use the document manager module:

1. Click on the Modules option on the main manager menu and select the Doc Manager option from the sub-menu.
2. Click on the Sort Menu Items tab.
3. Click on the parent document (or 'container') of the items you wish to reorder. For example, if you want to reorder the top (or 'root') level items, then click on the site title (in bold) at the very top of the tree.
4. Click on the Go button at the top of the window pane. A list of documents will be displayed.
5. Drag and drop items to reorder them.
6. Click on the Save button.
